Nancy Stegall paints the light and landscape of Northern California. Skyfynd built her a site that behaves like a room rather than a grid: you walk in through a film, choose a wall, and take home an original.
A gallery site has a problem an online store does not: every work is unique. There is no restock, no size dropdown, no second one in the back. A cart that says "Quantity: 1" and takes a card is telling a lie about what is being sold, and it strips the conversation an artist has with a buyer about framing, shipping and price.
The brief also had a quieter constraint. Nancy needed to run the site herself, without a monthly subscription and without learning an admin panel, and it had to stay fast on a phone in a gallery with poor signal.
